My wife and I had a wonderful stay at The Woodlands Resort. The property was beautiful, clean, and relaxing, and the staff made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. We also had dinner at Back Table Restaurant on-site, and it was a great experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was excellent.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a nice, peaceful getaway.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Woodlands Resort! The entire property is stunning, featuring an amazing outdoor area that is perfect for relaxing and exploring. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A huge plus for us is that the resort is pet-friendly, meaning our whole family could enjoy the trip together. Our rooms were spotless, comfortable, and very well-maintained throughout our stay. When it comes to dining, we were thoroughly impressed. The pool area offers decent, tasty food options that are super convenient for a day out in the sun, but the main restaurant is where the food is truly great, every meal we had there was excellent. A special shoutout goes to Vicente, the lobby bartender! We cannot speak highly enough of him. He is absolutely amazing, attentive, and mixes incredible drinks. He truly elevated our evenings. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Amazing experience at The Woodlands Resort! ! My kiddos had a blast!! We rented a Cool Cabana which included, champagne and orange juice for mimosas! A tray of fruit, water bottles, sunblock. Kudos to Enzo!!He gave us the best service ever! Respectful, friendly, attentive and providing fast service. Definitely we’ll comeback again on our next visit from California.

We enjoy day passes at the Resort to enjoy the pool, food and amenities. The pool areas are refreshing, shaded and relaxing with a soothing waterfall near our favorite Day Bed. The Lazy River winds throughout the resort and is peaceful and picturesque. Poolside service today by ENZO was the best we have experienced this season. He was attentive, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the day. The smashburgers are yummy too!

I am giving our stay/service here before because two people Gave amazing customer service.. As far as online customer service, telephone customer service and in person management I would've given it a one. However Teddy at the front desk was absolutely amazing so nice kind and accommodating. He made our check-in and they were checkout effortless. He even went out of his way to say hello when we walked by him in the lobby. There was also Sammy who was out at the pool area this guy was tireless. If we were out walking at six in the morning or 10 o'clock at night he was there. He ran bingo which was really fun lots of other events relieved fellow employees working. Walked around make sure everything was being taken care of. I don't know how he did it but he seemed to remember many many guests names. He is definitely a shining star and they are lucky to have him.

As a Silver member and an Army veteran, I expect a basic standard of service and security when booking a resort stay. Unfortunately, this property failed on almost every conceivable level, making for a truly miserable experience. Right from the start, things went downhill. We had to wait a full hour past the designated check-in time just to get a clean room. Waiting in the lobby after a long day of travel because management cannot handle basic room turnaround times is completely unacceptable. When we finally got to our room, we found that the balcony we booked was practically useless. The property grounds are so severely unkept that wildly overgrown trees completely blocked any semblance of a view, making the space dark, uninviting, and completely unenjoyable. There were cockroaches flying, creeping, and crawling. No paying guest should have to share their resort experience with cockroaches. To top it all off, the parking situation is a complete nightmare. We were forced to park nearly half a mile away from the actual property. Making guests hike that distance is bad enough, but doing so to a distant, unmonitored lot plastered with "Park at Your Own Risk" signs is insulting and feels incredibly unsafe for a disabled veteran. This resort completely lacks groundskeeping, efficiency, and guest security. Management needs to seriously reevaluate their operations and how they treat their loyal guests. I highly advise looking elsewhere—I definitely will not be returning.

My wife surprised me for Father's Day with a 3 day stay with our kids at this hotel to enjoy the water resort. Apparently the pools were broken/out of service prior to our stay, but we did not find out until we tried to go swimming. We discovered the 2 main pools were closed, as well as the hot tub and kiddie pool. The splash pad was also closed, but looked like it had been for a while as the surface was torn up. The lazy river was open, but was filled with leaves, sticks and pine needles. On the first day, of course we were disappointed but the workers were hopeful the pools would be open the next day. After talking to a few workers I noticed each of them had a different story about when the pools might open. Long story short, the pools never opened during our stay. We were told the prior storm took out a pump(s) and impacted a filtering system with the chlorine levels. The employees were very nice and I appreciate them. However, I attribute this disaster to facilities and especially management who should have handled this better and proactively communicated the situation upfront. We booked this resort specifically for the pools and were very disappointed to not be able to utilize the resort to the fullest.

My husband and I stayed at The Woodlands Resort for a relaxing Fourth of July weekend getaway, and overall we had a great time. I spent most of my time working on my novel, but we also enjoyed the resort's pool and fitness center. The fitness center is on the smaller side, but it has everything you need for a solid workout. The pool was very crowded, which is to be expected over a holiday weekend, so we didn't stay long. Even so, it was a nice dip your feet into for an evening. The resort also has a beautiful golf course. Green fees are fairly expensive—around $300 per person—but it's a little cheaper if you bring your own clubs. If you're not looking to play a full round, you can also hit balls at the driving range for about $25. The biggest disappointment was the food. I found it to be overpriced, and the breakfast buffet had limited options. On weekends they charge an additional $15 for what they call a brunch buffet, but I honestly didn't notice much of a difference compared to the regular breakfast. The best breakfast we had during our trip wasn't even at the resort—it was at a restaurant about 10 minutes away called The Kitchen. I highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for a great breakfast. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. The resort itself is beautiful and relaxing; we just wouldn't eat at the resort next time.
